EMDR Trauma Therapy for First Responders/Helpers, High Achievers, anxious teens and adults
For those who say “I’m fine” while trying to hold it all together
In-person & online across Washington
Hey — I’m Kellyn. (like “Hellen” with a K)
I work with helpers, first responders, perfectionists, and adult children of emotionally immature parents—people who have learned to carry a lot without showing it. You know how to function under pressure. You take care of others. You push through.
But underneath that strength, you might feel:
exhausted or burned out
disconnected from yourself or others
on edge, or like you can’t fully relax
unsure how to let your guard down—even when you want to
Therapy with me isn’t about just coping better. It’s about finding relief.
You’ve done everything “right,” but you still don’t feel the way you hoped you would.
Together, we’ll make sense of the stress, trauma, and pressure your system has been holding—and help your brain and body finally process it.
You can start to feel more present and grounded, stop over-functioning, experience real emotional relief (not just temporary fixes).
Areas of focus
EMDR and trauma work
Stop managing your symptoms and start healing the source—using EMDR to help your nervous system finally let go of the past so you can feel present in your life.
First Responders/Helpers
First responders and helpers are often the ones others rely on—but carrying stress, trauma, and responsibility for so long can take a toll.

Helping perfectionists and over-functioners move past the pressure of being 'fine' to find a deeper sense of grounded, authentic relief."
